This role combines front desk duties with light invoicing and admin support, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, down-to-earth office where things move quickly, and communication is direct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and manage incoming phone calls and emails
- Keep the reception area clean and welcoming
- Order and manage office supplies
- Enter supplier invoices into Data Build, ensuring accuracy with purchase orders
- Assist with general administration – filing, data entry, photocopying
- Support the accounts and project teams with clerical needs
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or invoicing (construction industry experience is a bonus)
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a variety of personalities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- A practical, resilient approach, comfortable in a no-frills, old-school office
- Someone who appreciates structure and straight talk more than small talk
- Well-organised hours with a 3-day handover to set you up for success
