The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity exists for a detail-oriented professional to support the coordination of financial processes, vendor contracts, and purchasing activities within a digital or IT-focused environment with the assistance of one direct report.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor IT-related budgets and expenditures, including forecasting cash flow and analysing spend variances.
- Support financial reporting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate IT procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Assist in managing vendor contracts and service agreements throughout their lifecycle, maintain accurate records, liaise with suppliers to resolve issues, and support contract renewals and amendments.
About You
- Qualification in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business Management, or a related discipline is highly regarded
- Background in financial planning, budget management, procurement in a digital / technology environment.
- Experience using software systems to support accounts payable processes, invoicing, billing etc.
- Knowledge of Information Technology related to goods, services, vendor contracts, SLA’s and financial procurement transaction practices.
What's on Offer
Located in Melbourne, with plenty of public transport around, a 12-month fixed contract with potential to be extended is on offer. $115k plus super, including 5 weeks' annual leave, hybrid working arrangement, and 9-day fortnight.
