We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Business Partner for a 3-month temporary opportunity to support the People and Culture team during a period of increased operational activity.

This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred support.
Reporting to the Manager – People and Culture, you will play a key role in driving core HR operations, supporting employee relations matters, and assisting in the delivery of organisational change initiatives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure HR strategies and processes are both values-aligned and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on performance management, employee relations, and day-to-day HR matters.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and induction lifecycle.
  • Advise on Modern Award interpretation, workplace investigations, and Fair Work compliance.
  • Assist in OH&S, WorkCover claims, and return-to-work coordination.
  • Contribute to audits, reporting requirements, and broader People & Culture projects.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in HR generalist or business partnering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and HR compliance
  • Proven experience in change management
  • Sector experience in NDIS, disability, or community services (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Familiarity with Employment Hero (preferred)
  • HR degree (preferred)
  • Current VIC Driver’s Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
