Our client is a well established local/global business that is agile yet works with a suite of established clients all over the country. There small team requires a software developer that is agile in working between multiple projects and software but also understands the implications from a data, coding, software, hardware perspective.
Your role will include -
Undertaking feasibility investigations for new features
Providing suggestions and input into the development of new features
Developing new products as directed & based on own investigations as well as input from others
Comprehensively testing new products/features for successful and reliable operation before release.
Providing estimates of required time to complete projects as required by marketing department.
Support for hardware configuration changes to hardware products
Support remote software development team
Provide high quality customer service and support, especially when problems in software are found
You must be -
Able to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
Be adaptable to changes in project priorities
Be able to manage multiple projects with multiple deliverables simultaneously
Have excellent communication skills
Strong relationship management abilities
Critical thinking skills with a continuous mindset
Hardware integration and software development experience
Experience must include
Preferred language is C#, with SVN and Git version control, and Atlassian Jira bug and issue tracking, Atlassian Confluence for documentation.
