Core duties:
- Building and fostering genuine relationships with existing and potential clients
- Identifying new business opportunities through your networks, research and liaison with industry associations
- Preparation and submission of tenders, quotes and proposals, and management of contracts
- Ensure compliance to relevant legislation, company policy and ethical standards throughout all sales activities
- Conducting post-contract reviews and customer satisfaction management
- Updating the team on activities related to tenders, quotes, variations to jobs, and client concerns
- Prepare analysis and reporting of new business achievements, opportunities and targets
- Managing and monitoring customer credit applications and contractual requirements
- You are an exceptional communicator with a pragmatic approach and strong negotiation abilities
- You understand and believe in the importance of developing and maintaining successful business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- You have a proven track record of success with the entire sales cycle from planning to closure
- Your experience and knowledge of the civil construction and earthworks will ensure you are credible & are able to provide the necessary technical expertise
- You possess strong organisational skills and can operate independently
