We are seeking an accomplished Sales Representative with a demonstrated history of success in sales, coupled with a background in hospitality and an authentic drive for achievement. The selected candidate will assume a pivotal role in driving business growth in the Gippsland region. This exciting opportunity involves both field sales activities and office-based duties at the Morwell headquarters, set amidst the picturesque landscape of Regional Victoria. Your new role:
  • Proactively pursue new customer relationships and foster business growth opportunities
  • Travel across Gippsland, spanning from Narre Warren to the Border, encompassing areas such as Phillip Island and the Dandenongs, to secure new clients
  • Effectively manage and enhance sales for key accounts and contracted clientele
  • Utilize social media marketing campaigns to drive sales and cultivate new business ventures
  • Develop, asses costs, and obtain approvals for sales strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Offer expert guidance and support to customers in their purchasing decisions
  • Collaborate closely with office colleagues on sales initiatives, pricing strategies, upselling techniques, handling freight queries, social media marketing and addressing customer concerns
  • Provide comprehensive sales training, coaching, and feedback to office personnel
  • Regularly report call plans to management on a weekly/daily basis
  • Ensure achievement of all targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
You will ideally have:
  • Demonstrated hospitality experience (with retail liquor experience advantageous)
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPIs
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Solid work ethic
  • Geographical familiarity with the Gippsland region
