Seeking a passionate human resources professional who is wanting to grow their career with a multinational organisation. The organisation I am recruiting for is a manufacturer and wholesaler of marine engines who have been operating for over 70 years.

Reporting the HR Director, the Human Resources Officer will be based in the Keysborough area and primarily responsible for providing efficient recruiting, training and HR metrics outcomes across Australia and NZ to achieve best partnership with the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, skill background verification, making offers, onboarding through Workday and termination.
  • Managing the learning and development lifecycle involving liaising with line managers to collate training needs for employees. Source external training providers or identify and offer e-learning programmes.
  • Providing assistance to the HR team in completing the annual performance review process cycle or employee surveys.
  • Providing support to HR team in developing or updating HR manuals/policies.
  • Assisting in several HR administration tasks and compiling data/metrics for reporting.
  • Travelling within Australia will be involved.

Core requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources/Psychology/Business.
  • 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably with a multinational organisation.
  • Proficient user of social media for HR purposes.
  • Good knowledge of Australian and NZ employment and OH&S legislation.
  • Previous experience using WorkDay (not essential).
  • Positive 'can do' attitude.
