The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Journal entries
- General ledger reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions
- Inventory reporting
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Assisting with compliance (FBT, BAS, Payroll Tax, Work Cover)
- Assisting with internal and external audit
- Degree qualified, with 1-2 years accounting experience in a similar role
- You may have worked in a Chartered or CPA practice, or within a commercial environment
- A strong understanding of GST, FBT, payroll tax and workcover legislation
- Advanced Excel skills and confident with ERPs, ideally SAP
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
