Graduate Accountant

Our client is a leading international pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier. With innovative products and services they are helping customers across the entire globe to implement their complex and quality-critical biomanufacturing and laboratory processes reliably and economically. They are currently seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to grow with their business in Australia.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Journal entries
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Inventory reporting
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Assisting with compliance (FBT, BAS, Payroll Tax, Work Cover)
  • Assisting with internal and external audit
You will be:
  • Degree qualified, with 1-2 years accounting experience in a similar role
  • You may have worked in a Chartered or CPA practice, or within a commercial environment
  • A strong understanding of GST, FBT, payroll tax and workcover legislation
  • Advanced Excel skills and confident with ERPs, ideally SAP
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
