This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and entrepreneurial organisation that continues pioneer with software and hardware solutions in the medical sector. Due to changes within the team, there is an immediate need for and Assistant Company Secretary to join the team as a contractor to ensure continuity and handover. This role is based on the city fringe, is likely to span several months and can include a hybrid of working from home and the office.

Key responsibilities likely to include:

  • Preparation of Board and sub-committees' agendas, papers and minutes
  • Co-ordinate the efficient functioning of the relevant Board and sub-committees
  • Ensuring that the Company complies with its statutory obligations and records
  • Co-ordinate and assist in the arranging and preparation of ASX documents
  • Contribute to the Company's compliance with the disclosure requirements of the
  • Preparation of guidance for the Board and sub-committees on matters as required including those with governance and risk implications

Ideally will bring a background from a highly regulated environment, preferably publicly listed in the health, medical, engineering or ICT sectors, but this is not essential. Having a legal/governance qualification would be advantageous but if you can learn quickly and think on your feet, working with the support of the corporate services team, then this could even be an option for an experienced EA that has done substantive work organising board agendas, board meetings, liaising with boards.
