An exciting opportunity to join one of our clients who are well known household brand that distributes across the country. Located in Melbourne's Southeast, they are currently seeking an ambitious accounts receivable officer to manage and maintain a ledger of accounts for one of their best-known portfolios. The ideal individual will have great interpersonal skills and have the ability to "hit the ground running" in the New Year on a longterm temporary assignment, currently based remotely working from home.
Reporting to the team leader, your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Managing your own debtors ledger
- Running all accounts receivable functions, end to end
- Following up on payments and posting allocations
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Daily banking
- Calling clients and answering their queries
- File and database management
- Managing and updating documentation
- Administrative duties and other ad-hoc duties
To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
- Relevant accounts receivable experience, ideally from within the production/wholesale sectors
- Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using SAP is essential, as is Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- The ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage a varied range of tasks
- Great attention to detail with database management
You will have a strong customer service focus, working with internal and external team to release orders, allocate payments and work with the customer service and logistics teams. Your customer service ethic and ability to build relationships with the team and clients will be attributes that set you apart.
