Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the local team in establishing on-site process safety management standards and practices.
- Provide on-site guidance for new projects, leveraging your expertise in safety engineering and chemical knowledge.
- Oversee all process safety-related and asset integrity activities, ensuring compliance with both company and international standards.
- Work closely with Operations, Logistics, QSHE Teams, and external stakeholders to provide process safety guidance for acquisitions, projects, and vendor sourcing.
- Drive the Path-to-Assurance program and set up internal site process safety assurance programs.
- Verify engineering and technical documents for safety assurance and facilitate process hazard analysis sessions.
- Conduct PSM training, investigations, and provide maintenance regime management advice to ensure asset integrity and functionality.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in collaboration with senior management.
- Manage and enhance customer service, ensuring a customer-centric culture.
- Review and address non-conformances, implementing changes for operational efficiency gains and continuous improvement.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Integrated Management Systems, ensuring the highest safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Adhere to the Chain of Responsibility Policy and Guidelines.
- Uphold the conditions of the "Responsible Care" initiative and ensure correct product stewardship.

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, Safety, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10+ years of experience in food manufacturing or similar industries
- Proven track record in engineering design, process controls, and project management
- Experience in process safety management, human factors, design safety, HAC/ATEX, PHA facilitation, fire safety, hazardous materials, and DG management
- Experience in the oil/gas/chemicals industry is an advantage
- Understanding of batch manufacturing processes is ideally sought
