Project Manager - Business Integration

An exciting 9-12 month contract is on offer for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the integration of two companies post acquisition. Working for a leading healthcare provider you will oversee the entire project and will manage the development and integration of systems, processes and staff.  
  
Responsibilities 
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders (including offshore).
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Partner closely with all departments including Operations, Clinical, Customer Success, Finance, HR & Legal to ensure operational requirements are met
  • Track Project costs and synergy deliveries.
  • Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
  • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Requirements  
  • Extensive Project Management experience including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Ability to effectively communicate relevant project information to the Executive Team.
  • Deliver engaging, informative, well-organised presentations.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Workday would be ideal.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexible during times of change.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
